Happy Holidays

Hello Everyone,

Over the past week I have been doing training on a treadmill.  My week has been all 8-mile runs and then a 14-mile long run.  I'd like to give a shoutout to former Stonehill College runner, Tim Cattogio, who is giving me advice for my marathon and ran a 2:32 marathon in his debut in October and is currently training for the Boston Marathon.  Locally, he holds the course record in the Easton Turkey Trot 5-miler.  Great guy and talented runner.  Along with the treadmill running, I've been incorporating the lifting into my training repertoire with committee member, Jonathan Adams.

Everybody please take a look at the Donations page of this site.  We are currently at $8,250 and close to our goal!  The CCFA has contacted us and will be helping us to become one of the top ten fundraisers for the foundation.  Our committee will be meeting after New Year's to discuss our plans to funraise further as it has only been two weeks so far and there is still a long way to go.

I'd also like to mention that there are other ways to help.  You can go to the Buy Tickets page of this site for a great event on March 22nd at committee member's restaurant, Jim Messinger; owner of L O C O.  There will be great food and drink where everything is included in the ticket.  Other ways to help are to spread the word.  Also, you can come down to Maryland or Virginia to support me or run your own marathon and raise for CCFA.

I hope everybody had a great Christmas and wish everyone a Happy New Year.  2011 is going to be a good year and I thank everyone for the support.
