Training

Hello everyone,

Over the past two weeks I've decided to pick out a marathon on March 6th, 2011 so it will be a 14-week program.  I hope to get into 5K's, 5 milers, 10 milers, and a half marathon before the 26.2.  Here are some of my current goals:

- 3:00 hour Marathon
- Qualify for the Boston Marathon

What I have been doing lately is 6-8 mile runs with a long run of 12 miles.  I hope to build the long run up to 20-22 miles.  I have also incorporated some weight training with my good friend and member of the committe, Jonathan Adams.  I pretty much hate treadmill running but it looks like I'll be doing that for a while.  I'll keep you guys updated and thank you everyone for the support.
